Utilization Change for Business Operator Classes - Feb-April 2024

New data for the February to April 2024 period from Aviation Week Network’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization shows that Fractional operators led growth for hourly flown figures, having surpassed its performance against the same period of 2023 (+9%) and 2019

(+57%). Results for Non-scheduled Airlines (Charter) entities show a 6% increase year-on-year, while its recent 3-month total was 39% above the same period of 2019 utilization.

The total hours for Corporate operators – the largest of the four operator classes – came to more than 900,000 hrs. during the last three months of 2024, only 1% below Feb-Apr of 2023 and 12% above the same period of 2019.
