Utilization Change For Business Operator Classes

New data for the September-November 2024 three-month period from Aviation Week Network’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization shows that Fractional operators led growth for hourly flown figures, having surpassed its performance against the same period of 2023 (+8%) and 2019 (+60%). Results for Charter entities (Non-scheduled Airlines) and Private operators both show a 2% increase year-on-year, while their recent 3-month total was 30% above the same period of 2019 utilization.

The total hours for Corporate operators – the largest of the four operator classes – came to over 940,000 hrs. during the three-month period of 2024, 1% below Sep-Nov 2023 and 12% above the same period of 2019.
