Qatar Executive Showcases Its First Two G700s In Doha

During a launch event in Doha in May, the first two Gulfstream G700s delivered to Qatar Executive, the corporate jet subsidiary of Qatar Airways, were parked in front of the Qatar Executive terminal. In front is A7-CHA and next to it is A7-CHB. Qatar Executive is the G700 launch customer and the largest operator of Gulfstream jets.

During a press briefing, Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said the G700 is opening a new chapter for Qatar Executive not only in terms of comfort, but also in terms of its long range performance.

A detailed look at the cabin inside the G700. Qatar Executive expected delivery of a third G700 in late May or early June. It plans to place five G700s in service by mid-summer 2024.
 

In the forward section of the cabin is space for club seating, a sofa that folds into a double bed and a television screen. For the cabin crew, there is a significantly larger rest area available, compared to the G650 for example.

The Qatar Airways Group has elevated Qatar Executive to a high level, “because we are working and dealing with the needs of high-end customers," Qatar Airways Group CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer told BCA. "So we created a connection between us and our customers from Qatar Executive, who are benefiting from the quality standards also from the mainline."

Qatar Airways' corporate jet division is the largest operator of Gulfstream jets, it says, and its first customer to take delivery of the Gulfstream G700.
