Hourly flown figures for the leading business aviation carriers – extracted from Aviation Week Network’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization – reveal that NetJets, Flexjet, Vistajet and FlyExclusive have all experienced a Q2 2024 utilization total superior to the same period in 2023, as well as against 2019. Wheels Up has had a difficult year-on-year period, with activity 30% below Q2 2023 and 6% under its performance from the same period in 2019, as it adjusts its business following investments from Delta Air Lines and others.

Significantly larger in fleet size to the other featured operators, NetJets accumulated just over 175,000 hrs during the period, having flown an average of more than 50,000 hrs per month since August 2021. The leading business carrier had reached a record high of just over 60,000 hrs in March and May 2024 alone. It also almost reached that level in June.
