Jet-A Fuel Prices Rise In August 2026

The price for a gallon of Jet-A fuel rose 70 cents in August 2026 when compared to July figures to settle at an average price of $8.31 per gallon. 

When compared to a year ago, Jet-A fuel prices were up $1.70 per gallon in August, according to a fuel survey of more than 200 U.S. FBOs conducted by the Aviation Research Group.

The largest monthly price increase was in the Great Lakes region, with prices up 83 cents per gallon, while the smallest increase was in the New England region, up 42 cents compared to July, the survey shows.

The Western Region was the most expensive at $9.09 per gallon, while the Central region was least expensive at $7.36 per gallon.
