Jet-A Fuel Prices Jump In April 2026, Survey Shows
The cost of Jet-A fuel in the U.S. in April 2026 averaged $8.63 per gallon, up $1.77 compared to March and up $2.03 per gallon compared to a year ago, according to a survey of more than 200 FBOs by the Aviation Research Group U.S.
Prices are full retail and include all taxes and fees.
The largest monthly increase was in the Great Lakes region, with fuel up $2.23 a gallon compared to March, the survey says, with the smallest increase found in the Central region with fuel up $1.20 from the previous month.
The Southern and Western regions were the most expensive with a cost of $9.37 per gallon, while the Central region the least expensive at $7.18 per gallon.
