In December 2023, Volato merged with special purpose acquisition company Proof Acquisition Corp. and became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. “It’s been quite a rocket ship,” says Mike Prachar, Volato chief operating officer, of the company's trajectory.

Volato Missions
The HondaJet Elite S and HondaJet Elite II, the latest version of the HondaJet, are ideally suited for missions from two to 2.5 hrs., with up to four passengers, Prachar says. Most of Volato's trips fall under those parameters.

It is equipped with Garmin G3000 avionics, automated anti-ice, lighting and pressurization systems, automated ground spoilers, an advanced steering and augmentation system and stabilized approach equipment with visual and other features.
