The number of aggregated hourly flown figures for the world’s leading business aviation carriers show that NetJets and Flexjet each experienced higher flight hours from February to April 2026 when compared to the same period a year ago, according to Aviation Week’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization.
Meanwhile, hours flown by VistaJet for the three month-period when compared to a year ago were down 9%, Flyexclusive hours were down 4% while hours flown by Wheels Up declined 46%.
Flexjet stands out, showing a 12% YoY increase during the focused period. The carrier’s total also comes to an increase of 172% over the same period of 2019.
Significantly larger in fleet size to the other featured operators, NetJets cumulated just over 200,000 hrs. during the three-month 2026.
Wheels Up recently completed its fleet modernization milestone, 18 months ahead of schedule, with replacement of all Citation X and Hawker 400XP legacy jets, with Phenom 300s and Challenger 300s.
