Flight hours by corporate, fractional and charter operators flown from June to August 2026 all rose when compared to the same period of 2025 and 2019, according to Aviation Week Tracked Aircraft Utilization data.
Private individual operators were the only group to show a decline with a decrease of 1% during the period.
Total hours for corporate operators, by far the largest of the four operator classes with a fleet that exceeds 21,800 aircraft, came to just under 1 million hours over the three months. Flight hours rose 4% during the period compared to a year ago and were up 77% compared to the same period of 2019.
Fractional operators, meanwhile, collectively flew 8% more during the period when compared to year ago and show a growth in utilization of 159% over the same period of 2019.
