The G2+ Vision Jet
Cirrus Aircraft’s G2+ Vision Jet, unveiled July 20, offers enhanced take-off performance in hot and high conditions, inflight WiFi connectivity and new paint choices to meet customer desires. “This aircraft is one more revolutionary advance in personal aviation,” says Zean Nielsen, Cirrus CEO. Cirrus delivered its first Vision Jet in 2016, followed by the G2 Vision Jet in 2019. More than 265 Vision Jets are in service today. Credit: Cirrus Aircraft

Gogo's Avance System Offers G2+ Connectivity
Cirrus Aircraft’s focus is for Cirrus owners to feel at home inside their aircraft, and the ability to offer inflight WiFi connectivity for the Vision Jet has been a goal. A 'Tug 'O War'
The ability to offer WiFi to Vision Jet operators has been a sort of “tug-o-war,” hampered by the cost and weight of the antennas and boxes needed for a private jet, says Zean Nielsen, Cirrus CEO. Enter Gogo’s Avance system. The G2+ Vision Jet is the first personal jet to be outfitted with Gogo’s system, according to Gogo. Credit: Cirrus Aircraft

G2+ Performance Improvements
Cirrus Aircraft worked with Williams International on the Williams FJ33-5A engine to optimize its thrust profile to provide up to 20% increased performance during takeoff. That means better performance in hot and high conditions, quicker climb, more range and more choice of airports. Credit: Cirrus Aircraft

G2+ Retains G2 Technologies
The G2+ Vision Jet retains the technologies offered by the G2 version, including an autothrottle, shown here, Garmin's Safe Return emergency autoland equipment and Perspective Touch+ Garmin flight deck. Current owners of the G2 Vision Jet will be able to upgrade their aircraft to the G2+ in the future. Credit: Cirrus Aircraft
