Under Clark’s leadership, Beta appears to be the most likely candidate to certify an electric aircraft in the U.S. in 2025, beginning with its conventional-takeoff-and-landing Alia. The company also plans to continue expanding its network of dozens of electric aircraft chargers at airports and fixed-base operators across the U.S. while increasing output at its factory in South Burlington, Vermont.
Chris D’Acosta, Swift Fuels CEO

D’Acosta has long promised to release a 100-octane unleaded avgas and has urged pilots to “be patient” for its arrival. The company expects its new 100R unleaded fuel to become commercially available in 2025 with both FAA approval and a key industry-consensus ASTM product specification.
