British Airways' traffic increases, load factor dips in January

British Airways posted a 3.6% increase in January traffic on 8.8% more capacity, which forced the load factor down 3.3 percentage points to 64.2%. Premium traffic fell 1.5% but economy totals rose 4.5%, the highest growth rate since September. Cargo traffic was up 7.8%.
