West Star Aviation has acquired Dallas-based Flite Components, an FAA/European Aviation Safety Agency Part 145 repair station, West Star announced Nov. 20. Flite Components specializes in aerostructure and composite repair, overhaul and repair of thrust reversers, control surfaces, engine cowls, engine inlets, pylon and floor panels along with radome repair and testing. The company sees “great synergies” between Flite and Dallas Aeronautical Services, West Star CEO Jim Rankin said.
