Ireland-based MROs optimistic about renewed growth prospects, in spite of strong competition
The Irish commercial aircraft MRO industry is positioning itself for growth, as Ireland's economy slowly recovers from its own financial crisis and the global economy falters. According to data released in August by the Economic Research Unit of the Bank of Ireland, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) growth for 2011 was 1.4%, with exports up by 8%.
