On Wednesday Japan’s Hayabusa 2 asteroid probe is due to deploy its third lander to the surface of the asteroid Ryugu—the German/French Mascot hopper/rover (See related story.) On Saturday SpaceX is slated to launch the Saocom 1A Earth observation satellite for Argentina aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg AFB, California, in a mission delayed from Sept. 28.
