THE PENTAGON – To help support its surface fleet needs, the U.S. Navy is looking in its fiscal 2016 budget request for shipbuilding increases across the future years defense program (FYDP), to about $19.8 billion in fiscal 2020, up from $16 billion for fiscal 2015.
