Peter E. Glaser, an engineer who conceived and patented the concept of the solar power satellite (see page 42) during a long career at Arthur D. Little Inc. (ADL) in Cambridge, Mass, died May 29 after a long illness. He was 90, and lived in nearby Lexington. Born in Zatec, Czechoslovakia, Glaser served in the Free Czechoslovak Army during World War II.
