Italy’s Leonardo has flown what it calls the latest iteration of its C-27J Spartan turboprop airlifter. In its new baseline configuration, the C-27J has been given a new avionics suite, cockpit control panels and light-emitting diode lighting, the company said Dec. 4 following a first flight in Turin.
