GE Quickly Developing Data Analytics Service Business

A sharp ramp-up in GE Aviation Services’ engine data analytics offering is indicative of the manufacturer’s plan to develop its aftermarket business beyond traditional overhauls and parts sales and into predictive – and preventive – services. The company has 350 engineers focusing on analytics, GE Aviation Services President and CEO Kevin McAllister told attendees at a Deutsche Bank-hosted event earlier this month.
