Steve (BSc Hons, FIIC) is a journalist and communicator with more than 35 years' experience.
Steve is a specialist in science and hi-tech industries, including aerospace, computing, internet and telecommunications and has won the IoIC Communicators in Business awards of excellence for both printed and electronic communications. He was also a finalist in the 2002 Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards.
Steve was also the originator and publisher of GetConnected.aero (sold in 2020), which focuses on inflight connectivity and is space & technology editor for both Arabian and African Aerospace magazines and Arabian Aerospace SHOW BUSINESS dailies.
The UAE Space Agency has extended the Emirates Mars Mission (Hope Probe) to 2028. This adds three more years to its original operational life to continue studying the Martian atmosphere.
A UAE-led medical study recently headed into space aboard Axiom Mission 4. The private mission, which launched on June 25, was led by veteran astronaut Peggy Whitson, adding to her standing record for the longest cumulative time in space by an American astronaut.
