International Airlines Group (IAG) believes it has turned a corner in its recovery and plans to restore over 100% of its pre-pandemic capacity on North Atlantic routes by next summer.

The airline will increase the seating density of its fleet by up to 20% to better compete with LCC rivals.

Air Canada has opted to purchase two Airbus A220s from an order the company previously canceled now that it has a more informed view of its recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
