As U.S. airlines continue to face historically high levels of pilot attrition, IATA Director General Willie Walsh says the challenge for recruitment in some parts of Europe is the timespan for security checks.

Record bookings, strong demand and an acceleration of the recovery in corporate revenue will result in record unit revenue in the second quarter, Azul's chief revenue officer said.

Although pilot attrition rates at Sun Country Airlines are starting to moderate, they remain above historical levels as U.S. legacy airlines continue to build up their pilot rosters.
