Kerry Reals is a UK-based aviation journalist with 15 years’ experience covering all aspects of the airline and aerospace sector for a variety of industry publications. She is a freelance contributor to Aviation Week & Space Technology, Aviation Daily and Air Transport World, focusing on the European airline industry, with an emphasis on how the sector is working to improve sustainability and reduce its carbon footprint.
Kerry spent a decade as a staffer at FlightGlobal, holding positions ranging from Features Editor on Airline Business to Group Deputy News Editor, before setting up her own freelance journalism business five years ago.
During that time she has written for a range of aviation and travel publications, including Flight International, Runway Girl Network, Aircraft Cabin Management, Skift, Airline Cargo Management and The Business Travel Magazine.
Kerry has also written for UK national newspapers, including The Independent, The Telegraph and The Guardian, and has been featured on camera as an industry expert for The Economist and the UK's Channel 5.
