Karen has fifteen years'experience in roles covering media relations, public affairs, social media and marketing. She joined Routes in January 2016 after a four-month stint at sister company ASM where she learned about the intricacies of route development. Previous roles include senior press officer at Gatwick Airport.
One of the factors that secured Chengdu’s successful bid for World Routes 2016 is its excellent international air connections. Chengdu’s booming economy has led to the rapid growth of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport’s route network – over 40 airlines operate more than 2,000 flights a week.
