Finnair plans to phase out its remaining 10 MD-80s by the end of next year, part of a broader plan to reduce fleet complexity and focus on fewer aircraft types. When the MD-80s are gone, the airline will fly 29 Airbus A320 series aircraft and at least 12 Embraer 170s in the European and domestic network.
