India has tested the Smart Anti Airfield Weapon, clearing the way for its induction into the country’s military.

“We are looking at an initial investment of 20 billion rupees [$307 million] to 40 billion rupees [$614 million], depending on the requirement,” HAL Chairman T. Suvarna Raju says.

India’s space agency has begun flight integration activity for its second moon mission, Chandrayaan-2, in preparation for a planned launch in March 2018.
