India’s state-run aircraft maker Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. has won a $176 million contract to supply 14 Dornier-228 aircraft to the Indian air force.

The first canister-based trial of India’s Agni-V intercontinental ballistic missile was successfully carried out for the missile’s full range of more than 5,000 km from Wheeler Island off the eastern Odisha coast on Jan. 31.

The carrier has invited offers from banks and other financial institutions to arrange the bridge financing for a 12-18-month period.
