David Casey is Editor in Chief of Routes, the global route development community's trusted source for news and information.
From Routes’ UK headquarters, David leads the content team which offers best-in-class on-stage conferences, print publications and digital news.
David joined Routes in 2017 following 11 years as a regional and national business journalist in the UK, five of which were spent as Editor of Insider Media’s award-winning digital news team.
He holds a degree in English with journalism and an MA in magazine journalism.
Qantas is to undertake three ultra long-haul research flights as part of its planning to operate non-stop routes from the east coast of Australia to London and New York. Chief executive Alan Joyce said there was “plenty of enthusiasm” for the routes, with a decision over their launch expected before the end of the year.
