Chen Chuanren is the Southeast Asia and China Editor for Aviation Week's Air Transport World magazine and the Asia-Pacific Defense Correspondent for Aviation Week.
Prior to joining the Aviation Week team in 2017, Chuanren was a regular serviceman in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Air Defense and Operations Command. He now serves the RSAF Air Force Information Center as a reservist. He holds a Bachelor of Mass Communications as well as a Diploma in Mechatronics (Aerospace).
As it prepares to enter commercial service, Riyadh Air is putting its focus on expanding international collaboration with airlines as one way to scale up its network from the Saudi Arabia capital.
