Summary
Chen Chuanren is the Southeast Asia and China Editor for the Aviation Week Network’s (AWN) Air Transport World (ATW) and the Asia-Pacific Defense Correspondent for AWN, joining the team in 2017.
Prior joining AWN, Chuanren was a regular serviceman in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Air Defense and Operations Command. He now serves the RSAF Air Force Information Center as a reservist. He holds a Bachelor of Mass Communications as well as a Diploma in Mechatronics (Aerospace).
A number of UK Royal Air Force, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy crewmembers are currently attached to the Royal Australian Air Force’s Boeing E-7 Wedgetail airborne early warning aircraft unit, as the two air forces await delivery of their own E-7s.
