JAL says it will begin code sharing with China Eastern from Sept. 29 on its new Tokyo Haneda-Shanghai Hongqiao route. The two airlines on that day will both launch daily service between the two airports, and will place their codes on each other's flights. Both carriers already operate between Tokyo Narita and Shanghai Pudong airports, and code share on this route. JAL and China Eastern have been code-share partners since 2002. With the new flight, the agreement will cover 30 routes and 301 weekly flights. [email protected]
