Taiwan flag carrier China Airlines Boeing 777-300ER made its debut at the Paris Air Show. China Airlines currently operates five newly configured 777-300ERs on routes serving Hong Kong, Bangkok, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The airline is scheduled to receive five more in the next couple of years to support the launch of new European and North American routes.

Embraer unveils $2.6 billion worth of E-Jet orders

Embraer announced a raft of firm orders on Day 1 of the Paris Air Show, including seven E-190s for Western China startup Colorful Guizhou Airlines, eight E-175s for Utah-based regional SkyWest Airlines, 10 E-175s for United Express, as well as 15 E-190-E2s and 10 E-195-E2s for lessor Aircastle.
