El Al Israel Airlines takes delivery of first Boeing 737-900ER
El Al Israel Airlines took delivery of its first of six Boeing 737-900ERs Oct. 9.
It has invested more than $320 million in its fleet renewal program. The second aircraft will arrive in December and four more are due in early 2016. The new aircraft will be used to increase frequencies to existing destinations on short- and medium-haul routes between Israel and Europe.
