Mitsubishi begins final assembly on more MRJ test aircraft
Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. announced the final assembly is underway for its second, third and fourth flight test aircraft for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ). The manufacturer completed the first engine run of its MRJ Jan. 13.
The wing-body joint and the joint of the landing gear have been completed for the second flight test aircraft. The wing-body joint is underway for the third flight test aircraft. For the fourth flight test aircraft, the fuselage has been joined and the body painting is underway. ATW
