Poll: Post-pandemic, would you be more willing to take high-speed rail instead of an intra-regional flight?

To the list of potential long-term challenges to commercial aviation from the COVID-19 crisis, add the likelihood of faster growth in high-speed train services for travelers in China and Europe, according to a new report by a major investment bank.

In the April 2 report titled, “By train or by plane? The traveler’s dilemma after Covid-19 and amid climate change concerns,” UBS analysts and researchers discuss how soon a shift by Chinese and European consumers away from air to rail could happen. They looked at what the impact might be for both business and leisure passengers, the potential savings in carbon emissions and how industries could be affected.

I'm not sure what the poll is asking. In either case passengers are locked in a tube with other people with unknown medical conditions and infections.

I answered "no" as I don't see the difference - the deciding factors for me would be convenience, cost and comfort (more or less in that order).
I've always preferred an inter-city high-speed rail solution over a flight so, on the face of it, I cannot be "more willing" than I am now. It is not so much fear of flying that bothers me as the hassle of getting to the airplane. I can remember when when air-travel was fun. Now it is painful, made even more so by the cattle-car aspects of most of the medium-haul PAX jets.
