Poll: How do you view pandemic-related salary cuts by airline senior management staff?

Air France-KLM’s CEO Ben Smith said he would forego his 2020 bonus and promised to speed up restructuring as the airline group moved closer to securing a multi-billion-euro state-guaranteed loan from France.

The group said Smith’s statement was in response to “debate” around Smith’s remuneration. The Dutch finance minister Wopke Hoekstra had earlier told newspaper De Telegraaf that bonuses were incompatible with state aid.
