European Airlines Piecing Back Networks

Travel restrictions put in place across Europe to control the spread of COVID-19 resulted in a 98.6% reduction in passenger traffic across the continent during April 2020, compared with the same month a year ago.

 

Currently, some European airlines, like Air France and Lufthansa, have confirmed plans to expand their flight schedules in June and July, gradually piecing back together networks that have been shattered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
