Several issues were discussed namely, the Bilateral Services Agreement between Mauritius and the Kingdom of Swaziland as well as the possibility for Swaziland to join the Africa-Asia 'Air Corridor' through Mauritius and Singapore.
The Swazi delegation made a presentation about opportunities that exist in the country which is now deploying significant resources to improve connectivity to the world. New airport infrastructure has been build and a new airline is being set up. The Swazi Delegation expressed their eagerness to work with Mauritius and Air Mauritius in order to boost passenger traffic and cargo between the two countries and beyond.
Chairman Arjoon Suddhoo invited Swaziland to use hub Mauritius to connect to the ‘Air Corridor’ as well as the Air Mauritius network of more than 20 destinations. He invited both parties to work towards an agreement for forthcoming collaborations.
