Turkish Airlines arrives in Nigeria without passenger luggage for the second time

Turkish Airlines has arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport for the second time without any passenger luggage, All Africa has reported.

Last month it was reported that the carrier arrived at the airport without luggage, leading to protests from passengers and compensation having to be paid.
Passengers besieged the airline’s flight on the tarmac in attempt to stop the flight from taking off.
Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Saleh Dunoma has asked Turkish Airlines to resolve the issue around arriving in Nigeria without luggage.
Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has called for quick resolution of the problem, and has subsequently suspended the airport manager, the head of Aviation Security and another top official at the airport.
