Tunisia's Syphax to begin operations ahead of schedule
Tunisia's fifth airline - Syphax Airlines - is to begin operations months ahead of schedule with first flight likely as early as next month.
The airline's first of two new A319 aircraft is expected to be delivered next week with the second arriving in Mid March.
Tunisia's Director of Civil Aviation Habib Mekki confirmed today that the airline has been given the go-ahead to launch services from Sfax-Thyna International Airport and that they should start in March.
Syphax is planning on developing routes from Tunisia to Italy, Turkey, Belgium and France.
