Three killed in Namibian aircraft crash

Three were killed last week after a twin-engine aircraft crashed near Hosea Kutako International Airport, All Africa has reported.

The Cessna 425 Conquest crashed in an empty field two kilometres from the airport.
The three pilots were training on board the Eros Air and O&L subsidiary aircraft.
Executive chairman of O&L Sven Thieme said: 'This is really a very sad day in the history of the O&L Group and certainly a tremendous loss for Namibia at large, not to mention the impact this tragedy will have on the lives of the deceased's loved ones."
It is still unknown what caused the aircraft to crash, but investigations are underway and a preliminary report is hoped by the end of the month.
