TACV - Cabo Verde Airlines finds prospective partner in EuroAtlantic
EuroAtlantic has shown interest in partnering with TACV – Cabo Verde Airlines, Cape Verde prime minister, José Maria Neves told Lusa news agency.
"There is already a partnership with various aspects to it. From time to time, TACV uses euroAtlantic aircraft. This partnership is ongoing and may eventually lead to euroAtlantic's participation in privatisation process when the question is posed," said Neves.
TACV has CVE10 billion (USD97.46 million) in legacy debts and has to rely on government sponsored funding to maintain operations.
The government has attempted to attract prospective investors for TACV with Okay Airways and TAAG Angola Airlines having both expressed an interest.
