Skyward to commence scheduled operations
Skyward International Aviation begins scheduled operations after securing KES2.4 billion (USD 23.2million) in loans for the lease of Dash 8-300s.
The loan comes from local Kenyan banks and the aircraft are to expand the airlines business beyond charters and into scheduled services.
The first aircraft has already been deployed on Skyward’s scheduled services from Nairobi Wilson to Eldoret, Wajir, Mandera and Lodwar with flights to Mombasa and Kisumu launching in September.
