Shoura Council calls for greater liberalisation for Saudi domestic routes
News agency Reuters is reporting that Saudi Arabia's Shoura COuncil is calling on GACA to further liberalise its access to the Saudi market
Reuters reported that national carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines is struggling to meet demand from the domestic market and that the Shoura Council has asked GACA to consider allowing more certain Gulf carriers access to the diomestic markek.
Saudi's second airline NAS withdrew from a number of Saudi domestic routes last year to focus on international flights
According to Reuters it is a 27 million passenger market.
