Royal Air Moroc to reduce flight prices for expats

Morocco's flagship carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the Moroccan government have agreed to reduce flight prices for the Moroccan community living abroad

According to the Morocco Business News, RAM is set to provide new tariffs this summer to encourage Moroccan expatriates' tourism in their country of origin.

The government will conduct a survey to identify the MRE's demands and expectations. This measure is part of a comprehensive plan designed to help this category of Moroccans overcome the effects of the financial crisis and encourage them to invest in the Kingdom.

The minister in charge of the Moroccan community living abroad, Mohammed Ameur, indicated that the money transfer service would be provided by the Moroccan banks for free until the end of 2009.
