Royal Air Maroc grows turnover over last year

Royal Air Maroc (RAM), generated a turnover of MAD12-billion during the 2007-2008 fiscal year, registering an increase of 6%, reported the Morocco Business News.

The airline maintained its growth in the market despite the high pressure on prices, the high level of fuel costs and the increase of competitiveness, the company said.

RAM consolidated its strategy around its Casablanca hub, continuing its development in Africa though the opening of three new markets (Yaoundé, Monrovia and Kinshasa), after the opening of three other points (Malabo, Freetown and Yaoundé) in 2007.
