Qatar Airways allowed to reroute some flights through Saudi airspace
Qatar Airways began rerouting some of its flights through Saudi airspace from last night (Thursday) after the lifting of a blockade imposed more than three years ago.

Qatar Airlines announced on Twitter: “This evening Qatar Airways began to reroute some flights through Saudi airspace with the first scheduled flight expected to be QR 1365, Doha to Johannesburg at 20.45 this evening, 7 January.”
Qatari flights had been barred from Saudi airspace along with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, since June 2017.
