Qatar Airlines to reinstate flights to Nagpur

Qatar Airways will be reinstating its non-stop flights to Nagpur, India, from Doha from 1st December 2015.

This will take Qatar’s total weekly flights to 102 across 13 cities in India.
They have previously services Nagpur from September 2007 to May 2009.
The route will be services daily by a A320 carrying 144 seats, with twelve business class and 132 in economy.
“Reinstating the Doha-Nagpur route is part of Qatar Airways’ strategy to service increasing demand by providing the best possible flying experience to our customers in India. Today, India has the largest number of destinations served by our carrier across any market and we will continue to look for more destinations and additional flights to expand our reach in the Indian subcontinent,” commented Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, His Excellency, Akbar Al Baker.
Nagpur is predicted to become an important trade and business hub, with a new airport and economic zone to be built in the city.

This will make Nagpur a more desirable location and Qatar are ready to meet the predicted demand in the market to travel to the city.
