Proflight plans for Mbala route
Proflight has announced its new route to Mbala, as an alternative to the current Lusaka - Kasama route.
The route will be served by larger aircraft, Jetstream 32’s and Jetstream 41’s, as there will no longer be size restrictions caused by the Kasama runway, and include a full cabin service, and will allow Proflight to lower fares.
“Having conducted the survey recently, we noticed a growing trend that showed customers’ interest for Mbala. In response, we are pleased to announce we will be servicing Northern Province through Mbala as opposed to Kasama,” said Proflight Zambia director of government and industry affairs, Capt. Philip Lemba.
Once it has gained approval, the scheduled flights are due to commence in June, and available for booking in May.
The carrier will also be putting on a shuttle between Mbala and Kasama for passenger convenience.
