Peshawar flights diverted by Air Arabia

Air Arabia announced today that its flights to Peshawar Airport in Pakistan will be diverted to Islamabad with effect from tomorrow - August 23

In a statement issued today, the Sharjah-based low cost carrier said the diversion was at the request of the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan and due to security reasons. There was no indication of how long the diversion routing would continue

The statement went on to say, "Air Arabia regrets any inconvenience caused to its passengers and assures them that their safety and comfort remain the company’s highest priority."
